Do I need specialist equipment to make the boxes?
No. The course covers exactly what tools and materials you need, most can be sourced online or locally. In addition, you will receive a pre-cut box kit directly from us.
I'm a designer, not a maker. Is this for me?
Yes. The course covers the full process including sourcing, construction, and how to present boxes to your existing clients. Having a step by step guide means you don't have to worry!
How long do I have access?
Forever. Once you enrol you have lifetime access to all videos, templates and any future updates to the course.
When does the course start?
Immediately after purchase. Everything is on demand, so you can work through it at your own pace. We will prepare and ship the pre-cut box kit within 24-48 hours. Please note that we do not ship to PO boxes.
Do you teach in the course how to Gold Foil the Boxes?
We don’t show the foiling process as part of the course, as it requires very specialised equipment – a Hot Foil Stamping machine. There are many of these online, to suit a variety of budgets.
If you’d like an easier option, Etsy has many providers of premade Embroided Letters. These can be adhered to the box post-construction and can provide a beautifully finished effect; especially if you’re not ready to invest the time in learning the Hot Foil Stamping machine.
Do you teach in the course how to make Folios?
In this box invitation course, we only teach how to make boxes. We're assessing creating a separate course for the Folios at a later date.
The box is where understated elegance becomes something a couple holds in theirhands. Once you can make one, you offer a keepsake — not just an invitation.
