How to Use Velvet in Your Stationery Suite We suggest using Velvet for your Wedding Invitation to make it the standout piece of your suite. It adds a touch of elegance without overwhelming the rest of the suite. Velvet also works beautifully as an envelope liner or a small enclosure card. However, we wouldn’t recommend using Velvet for every piece of your suite; it’s best used as a distinctive accent.
Details The front of your card will be printed on suede velvet, while the back will be cardstock to keep it sturdy. We don’t print both sides on velvet.
What’s suede velvet? It’s a soft, brushed leather made from calfskin, designed to mimic the look and feel of fabric.
Printing Specifications
Minimum text size: Larger text and thicker lines work best.
Maximum size: A5 (5.83 × 8.27 inches or 148 x 210 mm)
Minimum order: 50 pieces
Please note, we can’t print watercolor, letterpress, or digital designs on velvet.
Remember, velvet is a delicate material and can be more prone to damage or marking compared to other options.
