Letterpress wedding invitations

Timeless debossed printing method using printing plates and pressure. We press your design directly into the card with matte ink for a beautifully tactile experience. If you're seeking a glossy finish, we would suggest opting for foil printing as our letterpress printing does not produce a shiny effect.

What colors are available?

Please note that we cannot fully match the printing on letterpress and digitally printed ink colors as they are different printing methods.

The color printing for each card might vary a little bit, this is a natural characteristic of the manual printing process and brings a unique beauty to each invite.

Letterpress printing

We can mix and match Metallic gold foil and letterpress printing. Let us know before ordering so we can quote correctly.

We need a separate printing plate or die is needed for each unique design. Therefore, we do not print guest addresses or names using letterpress; instead, we use digital printing or hand calligraphy for these purposes.

For printing on letterpress, we use Photopolymer Plates and for printing on metallic gold foil, we can use magnesium or copper plates. Since letterpress printing doesn't involve heat, Photopolymer plates are an ideal choice for pressure-only printing.
