1. TAKE SOME TIME TO JUST BE HAPPY TOGETHER
First things first; No doubt that your fiancé (it´s time to call him that!) is singing with relief that you actually said yes, and you´re both running around the room together screaming with happiness.
Pop a bottle of Champagne, cry together, laugh together…Seal yourselves up into your engagement bubble for as long as you want to and enjoy the beauty of the moment. You’ll be so glad you did!
2. TELL YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS
I know you want to drop the ring selfie on Instagram ASAP – but hold on – there’s a process! You wouldn’t want your 3rd Cousin over the other side of the country to find out about this major milestone in your life before your mom, would you?
If you Fiance is a traditionalist, then most likely your parents will already know, as he would have asked for their permission. They could be waiting for that call!
Either way, you need to get on that phone and let them know However, chances are that mom and dad already know what’s up (from your fiancé) and are impatiently waiting by the phone for your call.
Siblings next, then your choice of Family and friends.
3. GET A MANICURE
Your fabulous new accessory deserves an impeccable manicure, naturally!
Pamper yourself with a professional nail treatment that will perfectly compliment that big sparkler on your finger. After all, your hands will certainly be in the spotlight for the next couple of weeks, and I’m sure you wouldn’t want the chipped nails to be taking away from your ring´s wow factor.
4. POST A RING SELFIE TO INSTAGRAM AND UPDATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP STATUS ON FACEBOOK
Once your nearest and dearest know about your super exciting engagement – THEN it’s time to flex and let the world (AKA everyone else you know) know about it.
